Job Description

True Glory Brands, the holding company for True Glory Hair, and other leading multicultural hair and beauty brands is looking for a highly driven, innovative, and resourceful individual to join our rapidly expanding team in a high-impact Retail Marketing & Customer Experience Director role. In this role, you will have overarching responsibility for developing and executing a growth marketing and customer experience strategy to achieve sustainable sales growth across the company’s retail stores.

Your Primary Objective

Develop and execute a growth marketing and customer experience strategy to achieve sustainable sales growth across the company’s retail stores

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize retail sales and achieve profit objectives
  • Establish and monitor performance related to sales, revenue, margin, and marketing budget
  • Provide an operational and strategic perspective in all company projects affecting the retail operations
  • Work with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities and retail sites
  • Constantly benchmark True Glory Hair with its competitors, incorporating strategies that will enhance the customer experience, optimize profitability and reinforce the overall brand identity
  • Partner with the Retail Operations Manager to attract, recruit and promote new and existing retail staff
  • Provide customer experience training and development to the retail staff
  • Clearly define metrics and evaluation methods to measure the retail customer experience
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to implement visual merchandising initiatives and reinforce the brand message at the point of sale

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service related industry;
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred;
    • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business;
    • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results;
    • Passion for the hair and beauty Industry;
    • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends and holidays
